Summary
The Premise
A crippled healer gets a second shot at the family that threw him away. Zeke Draker was born into the Draker clan, the most feared dragon slayer family on the continent, but he never awakened his aura. That made him trash somehow. He was expelled at fifteen, spent twenty years scrambling for strength, then died with swords through his gut after grabbing an ancient artifact the Emperor wanted. Instead of dying, he wakes up as a twelve-year-old in his old room in the Cradle, with a floating status window, a “Low-rank Administrator” title, and every skill he ever learned. The problem? The Blessing Ceremony is coming…
The Protagonist & Stakes
Zeke isn’t a scared kid this time around. He’s a thirty-something veteran stuffed into a child’s body, and he perfectly portrays it. He flattens his bullying cousins in Pankration, then beats the genius Reina Turunn in a sword duel by dropping his claymore and hitting her in the throat. He can’t use aura, so he opens his “ether hall” to use raw mana, then grinds his body into the ground, heals it with Healing, and repeats. He’s also being watched. Decker, his servant, turns out to be a hidden Blue Knight, and Abel Draker, the “Lion Sword,” shows up somewhere he never did before. Zeke’s changing the future, and that puts a target on him.
Why Read This
- Regression revenge, done with attitude: Watching a battle-hardened adult casually humiliate arrogant child prodigies is pure, satisfying payback.
- Aura vs. mana vs. system: Zeke skips the clan’s aura system entirely, using mana and a game-like skill window with Karma Points that unlock mysterious Draconian Skills.
“You should have asked why I didn’t change sooner.”
