The Premise

Ethan goes to a job interview looking for a way to save his struggling family, only to nearly die and wake up as a demon with a bizarre system. Eighteen, broke, and still carrying the guilt of his father’s death, Ethan travels from Ironshade Town to Nighthallow City for a tutoring job. The interview turns into a trap when the supposed employers reveal themselves as rat demons and attack him. Just as Ethan is about to die, a mysterious woman intervenes, gives him an unknown power, and leaves him with the newly installed Incubus System.

The Protagonist & Stakes

Ethan is suddenly transformed into Damian Lucio, an 18-year-old demon-incubus with a stronger body, enhanced senses, and game-like stats and skills. His new system can heal him, help him fight, and eventually make him stronger, but there is a serious catch: Demonic Power slowly drains while he remains in the human world, and he has to replenish it through intimate encounters with women. Ethan is uncomfortable with what the system demands, yet his family’s financial problems and his need to protect his sister leave him little room to simply ignore it. After defeating his sister’s dangerous ex-boyfriend and paying the family’s overdue bills, he begins to see the system as both a curse and a possible solution.
